Someone Give Me a Donut!!!

Okay, okay ... I'm craving something sweet and unhealthy, but that's only because I'm trying to make myself better with a week long detox diet and cleanse. I've tried this before, and it's worked, sort of. This time will be different though, I can already tell! That is because of Beyond H20! The other day, while taking a rare TV break, I heard what I thought was one of the funniest commercials I’ve seen in a long time! It made ME want to go out and buy Old Spice … even though there are no MEN living in my home!

The tag that got me was, Fresh, Fresher, Freshest and Fresherest … I laughed out loud because I thought that was so clever!

Some big wig marketing person put that together for The Old Spice Company, and will likely given them plenty in sales just because of that one ad!

I don’t know about you, but I don’t hire people to put together “ads” for me … I do it myself! I may not be Old Spice, but I think I’m pretty darn unique! Maybe even special!

That being said, is it enough? Well, heck ya! We are ALL unique and special! We have ALL been made in the likeness of the Creator, and what we have to offer is wonderfully unique from anybody else on this planet!! Think about that for a second … NOBODY on this planet can do WHAT you do, exactly the WAY that you do it!

So, do you have some amazing product you want to sell? Then use it … believe in it! People will be attracted to you and the difference in you because of that product just because … of YOU!! What about a service that you offer? Same idea! Use it and believe in it … you won’t have to preach it from the mountain tops, people will seek YOU out because of the better person you will become by using it!

So, not only will you find those horses, but before long they will start corralling all around you!

Keep going … don’t give up (as Winston Churchill once said … “never, never, NEVER give up”) … BELIEVE in yourself … because I believe in YOU! I know you can do this, because I did, and if I can, YOU can!!

Who, or What, is Your Inspiration

Why do you do what you are doing? Do you LIKE what you are doing? Who told you, you had to do what you are doing? Are you inspired to do what you are doing? Do you aspire to teach others to do what you are doing?

All related questions, yet somehow different. I've been bombarded this week with quotes and stories of people who are so tenacious and strong-willed ... they had, or have, a "never quit" attitidude! I personally ... LOVE it!!

That is me ... I will never quit what I'm doing because, well, I love it! I get to communicate with people from literally all over the world, every day! I get to share my story, my personality, and my company, with thousands of people daily! That gives me true satisfaction and peace! There is no better way to describe it other than just a peace of the heart!

Does what you are doing give you that kind of feeling? Does it make you want to get up every morning and think, YAY, I get to do this again!? If not, you may want, or need, a change! Have you ever thought about a change of career ... a change of pace? I am a real people person, so I love being an online referral marketer! I can't say it enough, it brings me complete satisfaction!!

So, I guess the purpose of the title of this blog is ... maybe I could be your inspiration?

Residual (Passive) Income

The definition of Residual Income, according to Wikipedia:

an income received on a regular basis, with little effort required to maintain it

I don't know about you, but I'd rather work smarter than harder for my money!

I've spent years working hard, just to make ends meet! Does this sound familiar ... too much month at the end of your money!? It did for me, for too many years than I care to remember, or even admit to. This all changed when I learned about residual income, and what it really means!

There is a quote that goes something like:

"I'd rather earn 1% of 100 people's efforts than 100% of 1 persons efforts"

Does that make sense to you? It sure does to me!

"Over the years I've been teaching children about a simple but powerful concept - the ant philosophy. I think everybody should study ants.

They have an amazing four-part philosophy, and here is the first part: ants never quit. That's a good philosophy. If they're headed somewhere and you try to stop them; they'll look for another way.

They'll climb over, they'll climb under, and they'll climb around. They keep looking for another way. What a neat philosophy, to never quit looking for a way to get where you're supposed to go.


Second, ants think winter all summer. That's an important perspective. You can't be so naive as to think summer will last forever. So ants are gathering in their winter food in the middle of summer.

An ancient story says, "Don't build your house on the sand in the summer." Why do we need that advice? Because it is important to be realistic. In the summer, you've got to think storm. You've got to think rocks as you enjoy the sand and sun. Think ahead.

The third part of the ant philosophy is that ants think summer all winter. That is so important. During the winter, ants remind themselves, "This won't last long; we'll soon be out of here." And the first warm day, the ants are out. If it turns cold again, they'll dive back down, but then they come out the first warm day. They can't wait to get out.

And here's the last part of the ant philosophy. How much will an ant gather during the summer to prepare for the winter? All he possibly can. What an incredible philosophy, the "all-you-possibly-can" philosophy.

Do you drink water?

We all drink water ... well, we're supposed to drink water. Eight glasses a day they say. If you're anything like me, that's hard! There's no time! I'm busy all day running around, doing errands, working, driving, doing this and that! I don't stop to think to drink water! It just hasn't been a priority ... until now!

Here is an interesting fact I have learned, since being introduced to Beyond H20. For a large number of people (37% of Americans) the thirst mechanism is so WEAK from being deprived of proper hydration that it is often mistaken as HUNGER! This means that the mid-day snack of sweets that we crave so strongly is really your body screaming out to be hydrated!

I found this to be very interesting as I am one who would grab that mid-afternoon donut or cookie! Shame on me! So now, more often than not, I grab a bottle of clear, pure, refreshing ... and most importantly ... HYDRATING Beyond H20!
